Self Exclusion
Self Exclusion is for customers who would like help to prevent them gambling. Self-Exclusion has been designed to allow players to close accounts where needed and receive our support to prevent any bets being placed during the designated time period.
A Customer can close his/her Account for a specified period between six (6) months to five (5) years. On request, the self-exclusion period may be extended for one (1) or more periods of six (6) months.
At the end of the exclusion period we will require telephone confirmation from you in order to operate an account with us and following receipt of your instruction we will leave at least 24 hours before opening to give you a chance to reconsider your decision, if during this 24-hour period you change your mind you have the opportunity to self-exclude again. During this time ‘cash out’ will be unavailable.
Customers who make use of our self-exclusion policy will have their account closed, and Heart Bingo will make every effort to prevent new accounts being opened by that customer for a minimum period of 6 months. Any customer wishing to be prevented from using his/her account should always use the self-exclusion facility as accounts closed through other means may be re-opened at the discretion of Heart Bingo.
It is easiest to use the form but if you prefer to email an exclusion request please be sure to use the email registered on your account so we can action your request as quickly as possible.

BetBlocker Software
Another way of taking some time away from online gambling is to put a “blocker” on your computer; three well-known ones are Gamblock or Betblocker
You may feel in control of your gambling but would like a break to consider your gambling, or maybe you are in the middle of a busy time and don’t want to spend time or energy on gambling. If this is the case, a time-out period may help you.
A time-out period (a maximum of 6 weeks) is set and controlled by you, so if you want to re-open once your time-out is complete you can do so, if you think you have a gambling problem then you should also consider self exclusion, so we can help you with preventing future gambling within set periods
During a time-out period, we will stop contacting you with marketing offers, and we will not open your account until we receive your instructions
A time-out may not be the most appropriate option if you think you have a gambling problem. If this is the case then you should also consider self exclusion, so we can help with preventing future gambling within set time periods to allow you time to take a complete break and consider your gambling.
Setting Limits
Deposit Limits
It helps some customers to manage their gaming to be able to set a limit on the amount they can deposit into their Heart Bingo account over a specified time period. The deposit limit facility allows you to limit the amount of money that you are able to deposit in to your account either daily (00h to the subsequent 00h UK Time), weekly (Monday 00h to the subsequent Monday 00h UK Time) or monthly (1st of the month 00h to subsequent 1st of the following month 00h UK Time). These amounts maybe reduced at any time, a reduction of your limits will be implemented immediately. An increase in your deposit limits will be implemented 24 hours after the request is made. You are required to confirm any deposit limit once the 24 hours has passed and prior to the increased limit being implemented.
You are able to set your deposit limits either when registering your account on the registration page or if you are an existing customer by going to "My Account" "Settings and limits".
This will also show you the remaining amount available to deposit and any pending increases you have requested.
Keeping Track of Time
It is important that you keep track of the amount of time you are spending gambling. We would recommend that you take a note of the time you start gambling and keep an eye on the clock on your computer/phone to make sure that you aren’t spending more time than you should be gambling.
We strongly advise that you keep your device clock enabled whilst gambling so you can easily refer to it, another way to remind yourself how long you have been on line may be to utilise an online stop watch or timer to give an indicator when a certain time period has elapsed.
Reality Checks
Reality Check reminders will appear after a set amount of time chosen by you and will require positive action from you before the banner is removed. You will also have the opportunity to change your Reality Check settings, review your account transactions or exit the game.
A variety of time periods are available for you to choose from and can be set or changed in your account settings. If you decide to continue playing a game after Reality Check has been acknowledged, the next time the banner is displayed the accumulative amount of time played will be shown.
For example: 0h 30m reality check set. After the first check has been reached the following message will appear “You have been playing for 0h 30m”. If you choose to continue, the next time your 30mins is up the banner will say “You have been playing for 1h 0m” and so on.
Reality Checks are an additional feature to help You manage your account and, by using Reality Checks, You acknowledge that Heart Bingo is not required to close or self–exclude your account or prevent use of our services at any time as a result of You enabling this feature.
Heart Bingo is committed to safer gambling and ensuring that you have the tools to manage your account responsibly.
